Costs Agreement and Estimate
Our general terms and conditions, and information in relation to our obligations under the Legal Profession Uniform Law (NSW) are contained within our Disclosure Notice, a copy of which is found here.
We are required by law to advise of our hourly rates or other billing practices at the time of engagement, and to provide an estimate of fees.
The estimate will depend upon the type of matter for which we are engaged, and will be updated throughout the period of engagement by either a formal Variation of Estimate, or by the provision of regular itemised Tax Invoices.
Trust Account Details
Lancaster Law & Mediation maintain a Solicitor’s trust account where funds that are held on behalf of other people are deposited, including any initial funds paid into trust on account of costs and disbursements for the future.
